Spain has become such a backwards country recently. Philip has removed them from any sort of political and technoligical advancement by removing Spain from world affairs. I think that it is a shame to have one formerly great country under the control of such a ignorant despot. Spain should step back into world affairs in order to save their people from the shackles of absolute rule. Once they again involve themselves in European affairs, I thoroughly believe that Spain will learn of the various political advances made in Europe. They need to adopt a democratic government and overthrow the evil monarch. Until they do so, they will never be able to compete in European affairs.
