Adam Smith's Thoughts on Spain

Spains economy is very weak right now and it could use a revamping. Phillip II spends extravagant amounts of money on his wars and his lavish lifestyle. Spain needs to embrace free trade and become a cepitalistic society. They would prosper more and the people would have more money instead of it all being in the hands of Phillip II. If they were to reform their economic ideals, then the country would prosper a whole lot more.
